Salam and Welcome to Hala.

When I started Sejadah Hala, I didn’t do it because I am a perfect Muslim. I did it as someone navigating her own spiritual path - constantly learning, growing, and striving to connect deeper with my faith.

Hala isn't about rigid judgment; it’s about the beautiful, gentle journey of coming back to Allah. Your relationship with Islam and your prayers can start, or restart, at any phase of life. Whether you are building a habit of praying for the first time, returning to your prayers after a long pause, or trying to find focus (khushu'), Hala is a welcoming space for everyone - including me.

We all have areas where we feel our faith lacks. This sajadah is simply a daily reminder that you don’t need to be flawless to step onto the prayer mat. You just need the sincere intention to show up for Him, and to be a little better today than you were yesterday.
